Quick answers to the most common questions I get about mobile notary services.
A current, government-issued photo ID โ driver's license, passport, military ID, or state-issued ID card. The ID must not be expired.
If your ID situation is unusual (expired, name doesn't match, etc.), text me first so we can figure out options before I drive out โ and avoid a wasted trip for both of us.
No. Most notarizations require you to sign the document in front of the notary. Please do not sign before I arrive โ if you already have, we may need to start over with a fresh document.
Sometimes restricted depending on your interest in the document. If you're a close relative or you financially benefit from the transaction, Arizona law may prohibit me from notarizing it.
Text me the details and I'll let you know whether I can help or if you need an unrelated notary.
No. I cannot advise you on how to complete legal documents, choose document types, or interpret legal language. I can notarize your signatures and administer the notarial act.
If you need help preparing documents, please consult an attorney first, then call me for the notarization.
Yes โ these are common requests. I'm experienced with facility visits and will coordinate scheduling and entry requirements ahead of time.
For hospital/assisted living: I'll work with nursing staff to schedule around care routines and confirm the signer is aware and willing.
For jail/prison: I'll call the facility to confirm entry rules, scheduling availability, and ID requirements.
Notarial acts are up to $10 per signature (Arizona regulated). Travel is billed at the Arizona state-employee mileage rate (currently $0.67/mi). I'll quote your total before we meet โ no surprises.
I offer same-day appointments when available and take evening/weekend appointments by request. Text me and I'll tell you the soonest I can get there.
Remote Online Notarization (RON) is coming soon. Arizona requires notaries to hold a separate eNotary authorization through the Secretary of State before performing RON services.
In the meantime, I provide in-person mobile notary services throughout Cochise County โ I'll come to your home, office, hospital, or facility. Contact me to schedule.
Text me your question โ I'm happy to help figure out what you need before scheduling.
