Services Provided

Cochise Mobile Notary provides mobile notary public services throughout Cochise County, Arizona. Services include notarizing signatures, administering oaths and affirmations, performing acknowledgments, and certifying copies as permitted under Arizona law.

I am a commissioned Arizona Notary Public and act as an impartial witness to the signing of documents. I do not provide legal advice, draft legal documents, or advise on the content or meaning of any document. If you need legal guidance, please consult a licensed attorney.

Pricing & Fee Compliance

All fees comply with Arizona Revised Statutes governing notary public charges:

  • Notarial acts: Up to $10 per notarial act or signature, as permitted by Arizona law
  • Travel/mileage: Charged at the Arizona state-employee mileage reimbursement rate (round trip from Hereford, AZ)
  • No separate service fees, transaction fees, or surcharges are charged
  • Total cost is quoted before the appointment is confirmed

Appointment Scheduling

Appointments are scheduled by phone, text, or through the contact form on this website. I offer same-day appointments when my schedule allows, and evening/weekend appointments are available by request.

An appointment is considered confirmed once I have provided a time, location, and price quote and the client has agreed.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • 24-hour notice is requested for cancellations or rescheduling
  • I understand that emergencies happen โ€” if you need to cancel on short notice, please text me as soon as possible
  • If I am already en route or have arrived at the appointment location and the signer is unavailable, unable to provide valid ID, or declines to sign, a travel fee may apply
  • No-shows after a confirmed appointment may be subject to a travel fee on future bookings

Signer Requirements

To complete a notarization, each signer must:

  • Be physically present at the time of signing
  • Present a current, unexpired government-issued photo ID (driver's license, passport, military ID, or state-issued ID card)
  • Not sign the document before the notary arrives โ€” most notarizations require the signature to occur in the notary's presence
  • Be willing and aware โ€” I am required to assess that every signer understands the document and is signing voluntarily

Refusal of Service

I may decline to perform a notarization if:

  • The signer cannot be properly identified
  • The signer appears unaware, unwilling, or under duress
  • I have a personal interest in the transaction (as prohibited by Arizona law)
  • The document is incomplete, blank, or appears fraudulent
  • Performing the notarization would violate Arizona law or my commission obligations

Limitation of Liability

Cochise Mobile Notary is not liable for the content, legality, or enforceability of any document notarized. My role is limited to verifying signer identity and witnessing signatures as required by Arizona law. I maintain Errors & Omissions insurance as an additional layer of protection for both parties.

Accepted Payment

Payment is due at the time of the appointment. Accepted methods:

  • Cash
  • Venmo
  • Zelle
